Health Guarantee
Health Guarantee for Puppies Your new pet is guaranteed to be free of all communicable diseases. To the best of our knowledge, this puppy is free from any health defect and is the best pet quality available. The puppy is guaranteed against any life threatening health defects for a period of 3 days from arrival and any life threatening genetic or congenital problems for 6 months. This guarantee does not include any injuries or problems the puppy develops due to negligence or abuse by the new owner. We do not guarantee against hypoglycemia, which is also called low blood sugar or sugar shock or parasites, i.e. worms, eye entropians, joint issues in English Bulldogs. This guarantee shall become null and void if the puppy is not taken to the vet, at the purchaser’s expense, within 3 days of arrival. The puppy must then be enrolled in a lifetime health maintenance program with the veterinarian. If, your puppy has any genetic health defect that will result in the death of the puppy, you must notify the breeder within 4 days from the purchase. A vet must see the puppy within 3 days of arrival in order for this guarantee to be valid. Vet bills and/or medications are not covered in the guarantee. Credit will be given in the form of a replacement of a puppy of equal value or, if applicable, repair of the defect, at the discretion of the breeder. If the puppy is to be returned, the return should occur within 7 days with all papers as well as a signed statement from the vet on the vet’s letterhead, stating the date of examination and the alleged health risks. The return transportation is at the purchaser’s expense. In the unlikely event of the death of the puppy, the new owner will need to provide proof of death by a necropsy report stating cause of death and a picture of the puppy dead. The report will be completed by a licensed vet and submitted on the vet’s letterhead. There is no way to guarantee the actual mature weight of a puppy. We estimate it based on the current weight of the puppy and its parents’ weights, but other factors such as genetics, overall health, and diet also affect mature weight. Living conditions can also effect a puppy’s health, ie. living on concrete floor can cause bad knees. It is VERY IMPORTANT to your new baby's health that you provide all necessary preventative vaccinations, provide a healthy diet, regular veterinary care, and adequate living conditions. Because of the variety and quality of dog foods available (and all canine illness are NOT covered by vaccination) we require that all of our puppies be kept on “Nu Vet Plus Canine.” This Nutritional Supplement is only available through breeder recommendation. You will be instructed concerning this when you take possession of your puppy. You are expected to have this on hand before you take possession of the puppy. The order line number is 1-800-474-7044. Your order code is 43469. The order line hours are 8am to 6pm Pacific Time. Nu Vet Labs send us a monthly report on which puppies are being supplemented with Nu Vet Plus Canine. NOTE: this health guarantee will be considered null and void if you do not keep your pet on this supplement and current on his or her vaccinations and wormings. We will not refund the cost of a puppy if the buyer is not able to keep the puppy due to circumstances that they should have checked out before purchasing the puppy (ie. not allowed puppies where they live, spouse or partner unhappy about the puppy, allergies, etc). |
